They conduct a detailed assessment of your environment and personal abilities and provide innovative strategies, advice, training and equipment and will also assist with home modifications to increase your independence both at home and when you go out into the community.
Our occupational therapy team will also provide detailed reports to NDIS or Home Care Package providers that assist with securing funding to implement these recommendations. These include, but are not limited to, Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology Applications, Complex Home Modifications Applications, Transfer and Positioning Care Plans and Activities of Daily Living Assessments. The Healthcore occupational therapy team can also provide these reports for medicolegal purposes.
In addition to this, if you need regular occupational therapy intervention or treatment, Healthcore occupational therapists can conduct an initial assessment to identify the best approach to help you. They will provide a treatment plan outlining your ongoing occupational therapy treatment needs and can carry out the recommendations in this plan.
